Privacy Policy

BeSure Consulting operates Investigative Drafting as part of its broader training, digital safety, and documentation support work. This policy explains what the platform collects, why it is used, and how the app is designed to limit permanent investigative storage.

Information We Collect

  • Account and contact information, such as name, email address, phone number, rank, and department.
  • Profile information used to prefill drafting templates.
  • Drafting inputs entered by users to generate training or documentation drafts, including optional residential reference photos and social media screenshots uploaded for insertion into a generated DOCX.
  • Usage and audit information, such as sign-in activity, password reset requests, document generation events, provider selection events, administrative actions, and provider directory activity.
  • Technical information needed to operate and secure the web and mobile app experience, such as IP address, browser or device details, and server logs.

How We Use Information

  • To provide authenticated access to the BeSure drafting platform.
  • To generate user-requested DOCX drafts, support Provider Quick Pick features, and provide drafting assistance requested by the user.
  • To maintain account security, audit administrative activity, and troubleshoot service issues.
  • To improve training, documentation workflows, and platform reliability.

AI Assistance

When a user requests BeSure AI assistance, information needed to fulfill that request may be sent to an AI service provider for processing. BeSure is designed to minimize persistent storage of investigative narrative content in its own analytics and audit systems.

AI-generated material is drafting assistance only. Users are responsible for reviewing generated content for accuracy, completeness, agency policy, and applicable law before use.

Drafting Data and Retention

BeSure is designed to avoid functioning as a permanent investigative records repository. Generated documents are delivered to the user for review, download, save, or share from the web or mobile app.

In-progress form inputs may be saved locally on the user's browser or device to prevent accidental loss when leaving and returning to the form. Uploaded residential photos and social media screenshots are used to build the requested DOCX and are not intended for permanent storage by BeSure after generation.

Users should not store sensitive case facts, probable cause narratives, suspect details, evidence descriptions, account identifiers, or device identifiers in reusable profile fields.

Account Deletion

Signed-in users can request account deletion from the Profile page. A permanent account deletion request removes the Supabase Auth account and investigator profile. Operational usage and audit records may be retained without the user identifier when needed for security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, or compliance.

Sharing and Service Providers

BeSure Consulting does not sell personal information. We do not use user data for third-party advertising or tracking for advertising purposes, and we do not use personal information for targeted advertising or cross-site advertising tracking. Information may be processed by service providers that help operate the platform, such as hosting, authentication, database, email, analytics, diagnostics, infrastructure, and AI service providers when a user requests an AI-assisted feature.

Mobile App Privacy

The Investigative Drafting mobile experience provides authenticated access to the same hosted Investigative Drafting platform. The native app shell does not add advertising, tracking, microphone, location, contacts, or unrelated photo-library collection.

Camera and photo-library access are limited to user-selected residential reference photos and social media screenshots for DOCX generation. Optional Face ID sign-in is handled locally by iOS; BeSure Consulting does not collect biometric data.

App store privacy disclosures should still reflect the hosted service data used to operate Investigative Drafting, including account/contact information, user-submitted drafting content, account identifiers, usage and audit events, and technical diagnostics used for security and troubleshooting.

Security

The platform uses authenticated access, role-based controls, audit logging, transport encryption, and application security protections intended to support authorized drafting and documentation workflows.

User Choices

Authorized users may update account and profile information in the app. Account access, correction, or deletion questions can be directed to BeSure Consulting.
